The smoker also comes with a handheld remote and built-in meat thermometer that makes smoker cooking easier than ever before. The smoker unit also still has the conventional time control panel and digital temperature push-button. There is also a model that is a little larger, and measures in at 40-inches. Masterbuilt’s 40-inch Electric Smoker, Model No. 20070311 also comes with the remote control, window, internal light, and four smoking racks.
Big difference between the two Electric Smokers is that the Model 311 is a forty-inch smoker, compared to the Model 411 that is a thirty-inch. Very few users reviewed the forty-inch 311 model, (total of five with mixed opinions), but the most complaints of that model claimed that the heating element went out after less than average use for less than two years, and no replacement part was available.
